Iokasti villa nestled at the heart of the center of Fira Santorini opens her doors for the first time beginning of February 2016. The name “Iokasti” derives from the ancient Greek times and represents something beautifully decorated.
Iokasti is a fully renovated 62 sq. m., house. On a first glance it looks romantic, stylish and traditional, with high quality selected furniture and items. The house offers a comfortable living room with a smart LCD & a keyboard, books & guides, a working table, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking preparation or for enjoying a nice meal, a bathroom with shower and bath amenities. The house provides two connecting bedrooms with double beds & orthopedic mattresses, offering more comfort during relaxation and sleep. The second bedroom has an in-room toilet with easy-shower and a second door that leads to the front yard.
The house follows an eco-character, sensible to the environment, uses A+ class electric equipment and provides recycling bin and additional bin for waste.
Iokasti villa offers also a beautifully decorated yard with dining tables, sunbeds and an outdoor shower, a hot tub Jacuzzi (from April 2016) ideal for sunbathing and relaxation during day time and for enjoying a romantic candlelight dinner before the night out.
The villa operates throughout the year and welcomes families, friends and couples that wish to be close to the town center however, far from noises and crowds, since the villa is located at a traditional and quiet neighborhood of the village.
Four to six guests can be accommodated.
Iokasti is located in Fira, at the center of the island of Santorini. The house is within walking distance from a public parking, the central bus and taxi station and the main streets of the town leading to the shopping area, banks, the museums and music conferences and the central nightlife of the island.
Seize your day in Fira with a morning coffee at the famous cliffs of the caldera overlooking the stunning view around the volcano. Continue by following the narrow small streets leading to the shopping area, visit the prehistoric museum of Santorini, the Cathedral, the White Door theater, famous Art Exhibitions and the old port where traditional boats offer daily tours to the volcano. Make a stop at a traditional tavern and taste the local specialties and wine.
