Amalia and the Dominica Home & Spa was just what we needed to finish off our two week European vacation. Amalia was the best Airbnb hostess we’ve had to date. She was so kind and helpful that she herself made our trip even better. The home was everything advertised. We used the steam shower and hot tub everyday. The details from the towels, to the robes, to the candles, all made for a romantic and cozy environment. The bonus is that we came home to a clean, refreshed home everyday, which even includes some laundry service. Really, the service was above and beyond what we expected. Last, the town of Pyrgos is centrally located and away from main tourist spots, which was nice. Make sure to check out Penelope’s for dinner and ask for the tomato balls. Its just a few steps away from the home and worth every step! We highly recommend Dominica and Amalia for your future stay. 5+ stars across the board.

This is what Airbnb, Flip Key and hosts all over the world should be like! Wonderful location away from wedding/cruise boat/selfie taking tourists, but easy access to everything important. This is what Greece is about! The management staff is incredible and the owner is incredible. They did so much for us. The photos do not do the place justice. You have one very good restaurant (Anemoloos) five doors down the hill and you have probably the best food, best staff and most reasonably priced restaurant on the island (Metaxi Mas) is 30 meters (100 feet) up the hill. You are close to the airport (8-minute drive) but you are 185 meters (610 feet) above Kamari Beach. The people who have a hand in this property have loving hands.

What can I say, what an amazing property! We traveled with our family and had an amazing time at Amalia’s place! This house is in immaculate condition, it has everything you need and is very close to shops, restaurants and local sights. We were so pleased we stayed in Pyrgos rather than Fira or Oia, we were able to enjoy all the best bits of Santorini without the crowds. Amalia was an wonderful host. She was available to help us at anytime and communicating was easy through out the entire booking process. I can not recommend Amalia or this property more highly, we had an amazing time!

Amazing place! I requested to be picked up by taxi, and the driver was waiting at the airport despite our delayed flight. We were greeted with a beautiful, clean villa with complimentary water, towels, and bathroom essentials. A complimentary breakfast each morning was wonderful. Aris, Amalia, and the rest of the staff were nothing but wonderful to deal with. They were very easy to reach and answered all of my questions. I even asked Aris for a good car rental place to avoid all the scams, and he called George from Auto 4U for me, who was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Drops Villas. I will be referring friends and family to Amalia and Aris in the future. Thank you very much for an amazing stay in Santorini! All the best

My daughter and her friends stayed in this beautiful home and they could not have been more thrilled with their experience. According to her, the home and setting were breathtaking, but, more importantly, Amalia and Nerife took incredible care of them. They were met at the airport at close to midnight with a driver, they were assisted with groceries and transportation needs throughout their stay and they felt so safe in their environment. It was the perfect experience for them! I cannot thank Amalia and Nerife enough for going above and beyond to make their experience as phenomenal as it was. A million thanks!

The villa was fantastic. It matches the pictures and is just a few minutes drive to the central shopping and dinning area of Akrotiri. Initially, we had wanted to stay in Oia but couldn’t because of booking at the last minute. After our stay, and having driven up to Oia for the requisite tourist photos, we’d recommend to friend to _not_ stay in Oia and instead stay in Akrotiri…and in this villa specifically. Our only regret is that it was just the two of us since we had the space to entertain a large group of friends for the weekend! Our host even left the kitchen stocked with food which was great! After a long day of travel, having to go out and shop for food can be really exhausting, so having some food to cook with already available is a great time saver…I wish every AirBNB did this since it doesn’t cost a lot but makes for a great experience for the guests.

The villa was absolutely gorgeous and in a great location, close enough to Fira town centre but not too close that to be noisy. The villa itself was beautifully decorated and contained all modern amenities like fast wifi, smart tv, coffee machines, air-con in every room and a large temperature controlled jacuzzi. Maria was lovely and very helpful and went out of her way to assist us with holding our bags after checkout and arranging a late night pickup to the airport. Overall we had a lovely experience at the villa and found it to be great value. Would recommend staying here!

Absolute lovely place, Central but although quiet. Very clean, nice furnished and decorated, lots of space and with a really big terasse to sit (URL HIDDEN) absolute recommendable! Communication with Amalia works pretty well, answers came soon .. While our stay Maria was the one organizing all…she was very friendly , easy to reach and really very helpfull. If we had a question, the answers came in an instant. We would anytime book the Appartement again. Thanks for that..

Had a great experience here. The room is great with a nice jacuzzi which was private. rooms are cleaned everyday if you want. Every morning breakfast is provided (omelette, toasted sandwich,fruit, orange juice, cake, yoghurt and coffee). Aris was great. He was very helpful with things to do and see, booking anything we needed help with and answering all the questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Amalia was a fantastic host! The property was incredibly unique and added to our overall stay in Santorini. Comfortably slept our group of 4 people. Elegant interior. Stunning views. Highly recommend renting quad bikes for the day (or your entire stay) to have easy transportation around the island. Amalia helped us coordinate through a nearby company. Not only were the rentals extremely nice/new/fast, they delivered them to the hotel right next to the windmill. One thing not mentioned in the description, we were able to have access to the neighboring hotel’s pool. Would absolutely recommend for people to stay here if they’d like a unique experience. Will hopefully stay here again one day.

Maria was very friendly and helpful. The room was just as the pictures showed. Cozy and cute! We enjoyed the hot tub and the easy walk to restaurants and bus station.

This place was great! It’s located away from the busy town areas, quite place with a lovely restaurant right next door. Maria was great and provided us with very good information and tips. The first day we arrived, we walked up to Pyrgos, about a 20 min walk and rented a car at rent-a-car (recommend this place). The appartment was cleaned and refreshed every day. The view was spectacular! We were given little surprises every day which made our stay even more special!

Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant. This is a brand new apartment / villa that is finished perfectly. Obviously it’s clean and well maintained… The villa has spacious bedrooms, living room and bathroom. The best part is the view and pool area. The host (Angela) is fantastic, she cooked a lovely breakfast each morning, fresh omelets and banana bread. The other host was fantastic too (forget his name) he organized a transfer to the port for us, he got a hire car delivered to the villa for us and ordered some pizza for us when we arrived quite late. Thanks Santorini was great Drops Villa is great Definitely go Defiantly stay at Drops Villa!

Our host was waiting for us and greeted us upon our arrival with maps and guidance about key sites on the island. The rooms and swimming pool were spotless, new and immaculate. Big breakfast was served every morning by the swimming pool. We were happy to be in a quiet village, and to travel by car to Fira, Oia, Akrotini and Ammoudi Bay, lovely destinations, for lunch and dinner.

It was clean and beautiful and centrally located, so we spent a day in the South, around Akrotini, a day in the North, around Oia and Ammoudi Bay, and a day in the central area, taking dinner on a mountain top. Iokasti Villa couldn’t have been more perfect for our group of six during our visit in Fira, Santorini. Perfect location: right around the corner is the main bus station that will easily take you to other parts of the island… and only steps to all restaurants and shops in downtown Fira (where you can also take the cable car to the old port for your boat tour of the Caldera)! The villa is well-appointed and tastefully designed exactly as they’re shown in the pictures! I also want to thank Amalia’s friend Maria who was very helpful throughout our stay in the villa. She gave us a thorough walk-through of the villa explaining everything, recommending activities, and arranging our ferry transfers (special thanks to Adonis our driver, who became an instant tour guide giving us the history of the island while taking us to/from the port).

Great place with beautiful views. Vasilus and Amelia are amazing hosts. The house is well designed with all amenities. I would love to come back and stay in the same place. Tip: Ask Vasilus for local references and transportation. He is a great guy with goals to see his guests happy in Satorini.
